Effective communication skills are fundamental to success in many aspects of life. Many jobs require strong communication skills.
Many business problems – both internal and external – arise from poor communication. People don’t speak or write as clearly, concisely or coherently as they could do, with the result that messages are often muddled, incomplete or and sometimes don’t get through at all. Sometimes people rely too much on email, when it would be more effective to pick up the phone or go and speak with them face to face.
